【♥ Kanizen ♥】Hairy Crabs! Here I go!

Kanizen is surely the best crab restaurant serving Hokkaido crabs in town.

Hairy Crabs! Here I go!

This was a lunch that my friend took me last few weeks. She told me that Kanizen is the famous crab restaurant serving Hokkaido's crabs in HK. You know that Japanese people love crabs. As far as I know, there are 4 types of crabs in total, they are: hanasaki crab, hairy crab, snow crab, and king crab, and they all make me crazy to say the least.

Once we step into the shop, we were shocked by such a tank filled with fresh hairy crabs!

We chose the Taraba Executive Set (HK$680+10%) finally. Price was not lovely but we believed it worths every penny!!!!

The course perfectly started with a soup - Cold Hoikaido Corn Soup with Sea Urchin and Taraba Crab Meat. Honestly speaking, taste was soooo great as it flavoured the elegant sweetness and sophisticated taste~

Then we had the main course - Assorted Grilled Taraba Crab (leg, claw). For grilled lover, it will surely be the best dishes for you. As crabs were in season, they all big in size and rich in the flavor.

What's more, we had the Crab Shabu Shabu afterwards.

What amused us is the Crab Mustard!!! It was incredibly perfect when adding to the congee at the end. You just can't resist it!

Dessert was ginger ice cream~

Apart from the food, kudo should go to the wonderful and cozy ambience as well. All servers there were really nice and helpful. Giving a very good impression for the guests including us.

I will definitely come here again, to taste the best Hokkaido Crabs in town. But as a warm reminder, Crabs will be more delicious in Winter. Do come and enjoy~
